What can go wrong when you clean your expensive wool carpets?

Cleaning wool fibre is more chemically sensitive than your ordinary synthetic fibers, for example using chemicals with optical brighteners or high PH, or chemicals that attack protein for example (egg and milk) can permanently cause irreversible damage. For example, your wool fibre is protein as well, so the choice of chemical used is extremely important.
